Green Iron: Developing the Industries of the Future

Bivios works with commercial entities, governments and not for profit organisations to define the pathways to commercial success for the low emissions industries of the future.
Since October 2024 we have worked closely with The Superpower Institute to develop a detailed techno-economic model of green iron production pathways in Australia.
Our model, which calculates the cost of green iron production for different technology types at five locations across Australia, has been used extensively in support of the new TSI report "A Green Iron Plan for Australia", published on 26th May 2025. Other uses of our techno-economic model have included defining the least cost emissions reduction pathway for a critical minerals processing facility and identifying the advantages of co-locating future industries in industrial eco-systems.
If you would like to learn more about how we can use our modelling capabilities to enhance your investor returns from energy transition projects and investments please get in touch.
